Building Your Network Through Informational Interviewing
Have you ever wanted to learn more about another position at work, gain additional insight into what it may be like to work on another team, or naturally build your network? Consider holding an informational interview!

Informational interviews are formal, informal, or impromptu conversations you can have with someone that works in an area of interest to you. They are a great way to gather information about positions, organizations, and industries you may be interested in. But like most things, holding an effective informational interview requires preparation. Do your homework ahead of time!

If you haven't held an informational interview before—or are looking to improve this particular skill—we invite you to join us for our upcoming nationwide webinar, "Building Your Network Through Informational Interviewing." It will be held on Tuesday, June 28th at 6:30pm MDT. Together, we will review answers to questions such as:

• What is an informational interview, and how does it differ from a typical job interview?
• How should I approach someone when asking them to participate in an informational interview?
• How can I build my network through informational interviewing?
• How can I use an informational interview to enhance my career?
